In order to meet the donor demands and increased pressure by citizens to have their governments perform, Afr ican countries gradually began to appreciate the use of internet, PCs, mobile phones, and other gadgets to deliver government services online. E-government is taunted as the most efficient way of streamlining public sector reforms and citizen involvement in administration and governance of public affairs. Though the process of e-governance is highly admired, there are many challenges, facing its implementation.
